Our Campaigns
Certified by Sport England x Active Partnerships & UK/Ireland Awareness Days
In 2025, we’re proud to have founded a Global REDs Awareness Week this November - inspired by The Royal Ballet School’s landmark campaign highlighting the physical and mental toll of Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED‑S).
REDs Awareness Week is RED-Scue's global campaign dedicated to:
Raising awareness – shining a light on REDs in sport, dance, fitness, and beyond.
Educating – sharing evidence-based knowledge for athletes, coaches, parents, and practitioners.
Preventing – pushing for safer sport-specific guidelines and environments (e.g. challenging unsafe body fat % targets).
Empowering – giving athletes and coaches tools to recognise early warning signs and know how to respond.
Why It Matters
REDs is not rare: studies show high prevalence, especially in endurance, weight-sensitive, and aesthetic sports.
Despite its impact, most athletes and coaches do not receive formal training on REDs and there is no tailored nutrition solution (until now with RED-Scue!).
Campaign Goals
Unite sports, health, and education sectors under one global conversation.
Call for Global REDs Awareness Day (21 November) to become a recognised part of the sporting calendar.
Launch educational tools like the REDs Alphabet Campaign (sport-by-sport guidelines).
Provide practical pathways for safe return to sport following REDs, drawing on the RED-D consensus.
How You Can Get Involved
